Groundwater concerns are not new in India. One of the most prominent issues that have gained global attention is arsenic contamination in the Ganges and Brahmaputra basins, affecting several states. Prolonged exposure to arsenic can lead to different types of cancers and ultimately death. KMS team is working on sampling water from different water sources. These samples were collected before any treatment, analyzed for temperature, and pH, and will be tested for their content, bicarbonates, nitrates, and trace elements.
